Warsaw 100 most influential women30 October 2013 - Ambassador Patricia Ann V. Paez, the Philippine envoy to Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, has been selected as one of the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World (Global 100) - Policymaker & Visionary Award Category by the Filipina Women’s Network (FWN).

This award category recognizes Filipina women leaders who have demonstrated exceptional business acumen, have a forward-looking vision in the development or influencing of  policies, campaigns or laws that impact business, industry, and society and who enrich the lives and careers of others by sharing the benefits of their wealth, experience and knowledge.

“The FWN Global100 Awardees will be featured in a special issue of the FWN Magazine, and they will be honored at a Gala Awards dinner and ceremony on 26 October 2013 during the 10th Annual Filipina Leadership Summit at the Mark Hopkins InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco, California,” said Susie Quesada, Executive Vice President of Ramar Foods and FWN President.

The 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World Award is a celebration of leadership, inspiration and achievement. It honors Filipina women who are influencing the face of leadership in the global workplace.

The FWN Global100 women are powerful examples of women doing extraordinary work who will motivate our youth and future leaders, said Col. Shirley Raguindin, Chair of the Global100 Worldwide Search and Selection Committee. “They were selected from nominations submitted from 15 countries.”

The 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World Award is a working recognition award, a dream with a meaningful purpose: double the number of Filipina women leaders globally by 2020. The awardees are asked to femtor a protege and attend the Filipina Leadership Summit on October 24-26, 2013 in San Francisco.
