04 January 2016 — The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong SAR recently featured the works of Hong Kong-based Filipino artist Janet Pancho Gupta in an exhibit called, “Symphony of Life” at the Philippine Consulate General Gallery.

Janet Pancho Gupta first came to Hong Kong in 2000 as household service worker.   She began dabbling in painting eight years ago. She eventually pursued visual art and is now an accomplished watercolorist, graphite artist, and photographer.

Gupta’s exhibit featured 14 mounted hyperrealist paintings in watercolor of different nature-based images.

The exhibit was mounted in cooperation with the Pintura Circle, a group of Filipino Artists and enthusiasts in Hong Kong. END
