06 January 2017 - A solemn wreath-laying ceremony was conducted to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal at the garden of the Philippine Embassy in Ankara on January 03, 2017.
Embassy personnel and their families sang the Philippine National Anthem and recited the “Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat ng Pilipinas.” The group sang “Pilipinas kong Mahal.” A moment of silence was also held in honor of Dr. Jose Rizal. END
