10 January 2017 — Senator Sherwin Gatchalian paid a visit to the Embassy on December 30, 2016. During the meeting with Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Constancio R. Vingno and other Embassy officials, the Senator was given the background on the functions of the Embassy in partnership with the attached agencies (POLO, OWWA and DSWD) in pursuance of their objective of working for the welfare of the overseas Filipinos in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
