30 October 2013– The Philippine Embassy in Madrid successfully conducted a consular outreach mission in Andorra La Vella, Principality of Andorra on October 26. The consular outreach mission was made possible in coordination with the Filipino community.

The consular team, led by Deputy Chief of Mission and Consul General Catalino R. Dilem, Jr. processed a total of 172 transactions, of which, 171 were passport applications, and one (1) was a report of birth. The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) also extended their respective services.

At present, the Philippines has an Honorary Consul in Andorra which attends to consular services except passport services.

About 1,000 Filipinos are working and living in Andorra. Majority of them work as sales agents, hotel and restaurant workers, and household staff. END
