13 January 2017 – The Filipino Ladies Association of Guam (FLAG) Board of Directors took their oath before Philippine Consul General Marciano R. de Borja at the Chamorro Ballroom, Pacific Star Resort & Spa, Guam on January 06 during FLAG’s the 56th Christmas and Induction Ball.
FLAG’s Board of Directors is composed of Chet Brocka-Neri, Marites M. Barrogo, Lorie Castelo, Susan Larosa, Nenita M. Magallanes, Violeta Nombre, Aida Miranda, Emelita I. Crisostomo.
Madame Esperanza de Borja, the Consul General’s spouse, together with Guam’s First Lady Madame Christine S. Calvo, presented the corsages to FLAG’s outgoing president Ms. Annie Gozum-Soto and incoming president Ms. Shirley Trinidad.
High-level officials of the Government of Guam (GOVGUAM) and members of the Filipino community attended the event.
FLAG was founded in 1962 and has since been active in organizing various social and civic activities. END
