17 January 2017 — The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok observed Autism Consciousness Week 2017 during its flag raising ceremony on January 16, with a reading of a brief introduction to autism and a short promise (1Pangako) to work towards ending the wrong use of the word “autistic” and to furthering wider acceptance and care for people with disabilities.
