19 January 2017 – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is extended around 200,000 consular services in 2016.
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 66,653 passport applications, as follows: 65,815 passport renewal applications; 1,562 new passport applications and 838 replacements of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 3,428 passport validity extensions and 789 Travel Documents.
Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)
The Embassy conducted 42 consular mobile missions in various key cities within its jurisdiction, namely: Riyadh 2nd Industrial City, Al Jouf, Al Khafji, Al Khobar, Buraidah, Hafr Al Batin, Hail, and Jubail.
Visa Services
A total of 3,475 visas were issued by the Embassy in 2016, of which were 3,414 Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 61 Diplomatic (9E) Visas.
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 2,542 civil registry documents in 2016, as follows: 624 Reports of Marriage; 1,607 Reports of Birth; 274 Reports of Death; zero Report of Fetal Death; 32 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, five applications for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.
Notarial and Authentication Services
The Embassy provided a total of 33,584 notarial and authentication services, as broken down as follows: 32,690 notarials and 894 authentications.
Other Services
In 2016, the Embassy released 64,797 new passports. It also provided 31,148 photocopying services.
