16 January 2017 — Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales led the officials the Philippine Embassy in Singapore in congratulating the latest batch of graduates during the 12th Graduation Ceremony of HOME Academy Skills Training Program at the United World College-East in the Tampines area in Singapore.
Labor Attaché Ramon Pastrana, Consul Mersole J. Mellejor and Vice Consul Laarni Zorayda Gandarosa joined Ambassador Morales in congratulating the second batch of graduates of the Skills Training Program for successfully completing their courses.
Singapore-based Humanitarian Assistance for Migration Economics (HOME), one of the many charitable organizations that work for the welfare of foreign domestic workers in Singapore manages the program.
He said that their milestone will open new possibilities for them especially when they decide to go back home for good.
He mentioned that their positive contributions to society are recognized by both the Philippines and Singapore. He also thanked HOME for being a partner of the Philippine Embassy in promoting the welfare of overseas workers.
Welfare Officer Rosanna Siray represented the Embassy in the distribution of certificates to the first half of graduates who have successfully completed their training on January 08. END
