23 January 2017 – Philippine Ambassador to the U.A.E. Constancio R. Vingno, Jr, accompanied by Madame Yoko Ramos-Vingno, joined Dr. B.R. Shetty, the Chief Executive Officer of New Medical Center (NMC) Healthcare in leading the ribbon-cutting ceremonies of the NMC Mabuhay Clinic last January 11 in Abu Dhabi.

The NMC Mabuhay Clinic is a new venture of NMC Healthcare, the biggest healthcare provider in the United Arab Emirates.  The clinic will focus on providing medical services to the growing number of Filipinos in the U.A.E.’s capital.

The Mabuhay Clinic is composed of several Filipino doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals. This is the only health facility of the NMC chain of hospitals where Filipino is can be widely spoken by its doctors, staff, and other personnel.

Prior to the opening ceremonies, Ambassador Vingno and Dr. Shetty met to discuss possible investments of the NMC Group to the Philippines.

In his message, Ambassador Vingno thanked the NMC leadership for this initiative and enjoined the Filipino doctors, nurses, and personnel of the Mabuhay Clinic to continue to provide the best possible healthcare to fellow Filipinos and other nationalities. END
