23 January 2017 – The Philippine Embassy in Amman commemorated Autism Consciousness Week 2017 from January 15 to 21 by supporting the Autism Awareness Seminar in Holy Land Center in Amman on January 20.

The United Filipino Organization organized the seminar for its caregiver’s class of around 120 students. Ms. Eizhelle Niduaza, a Filipino nurse in Amman and the lecturer of the caregiver’s class, conducted the four-hour seminar. 

The talk revolved around autism spectrum disorders, symptoms, management and interventions.  END
