24 January 2017 – The Director General of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Mrs. Do Pang Wai-yee, recently paid a courtesy call on the Philippine Permanent Representative to ASEAN Ambassador Elizabeth P. Buensuceso, at the Philippine Permanent Mission to ASEAN in Jakarta.

The meeting focused on how ASEAN and Hong Kong may work together to put forward regional priorities involving trade, people-to-people exchange, and infrastructure development, such as through the recently established Master Plan of ASEAN Connectivity (MPAC) 2025.

The Philippines’ chairmanship priorities for ASEAN 2017 were also discussed during the meeting. END
