30 January 2017 - Paris-based Filipino singer Dennis Astorga and classical guitarist Franco Raymundo Moscardon Maigue serenaded the guests during the traditional New Year Drink organised by the Advisory Board of the North-South Solidarity of the Municipality of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode in Brussels at the Charlier Museum on January 22.
Astorga and Maigue recently performed before more than a thousand spectators at the 11th Gospel Concert at the Eglise de Saint-Josse on December 10, 2016. The said concert was dedicated to the people of Binalonan, Pangasinan. The Municipality of Saint-Josee and Binalonan have been sister cities since 2014.
The Philippine Embassy in Brussels attended the event upon the invitation of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode Mayor Emir Kir and Deputy Mayor Eric Jassin in charge of Public Works, Tourism, International Relations and Cooperation.
Madame Céline Fremault, Minister of the Government of the Brussels Capital Region, responsible for Housing, Quality of Life, Environment and Energy, attended as a special guest. END
