30 January 2017 - The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates led by Vice Consul Marianne Bringas and Vice Consul Elizabeth Ramos graced the Induction of Officers of Pinoy Vets U.A.E. held at Asiana Hotel on January 20.
Vice Consul Bringas challenged the veterinarians to uphold their oath – protection and conservation of animals/resources; promotion of public health; and advancement of medical knowledge. She also encouraged the group to serve as an inspiration to the practitioners in their field and to provide exemplary service to their clients.
Pinoy Vets U.A.E. is an organization of Filipino veterinarians based in the U.A.E. The organization is composed of 55 doctors from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Ain and Fujairah, U.A.E.
The organization was founded 2013 goal to raise the standard of the Filipino veterinarians in the field of veterinary industry in the U.A.E. Some of their activities include continuous professional education, assistance in adoption in small animals, rabies awareness campaigns and assistance to non-practicing veterinarians. END
