01 February 2017 DUBAI — Representatives from the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates and the Filipino Ladies of Dubai, led by Dr. Yasmin Balajadia-Cortes, participated in the cultural immersion organized by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture in Dubai on January 27.

With the theme “Showcasing Emirati Culture and Tradition Then and Now,” the Center's head, Director Hind Lootah, presented the United Arab Emirates' (U.A.E.) history, culture, and its people's traditional and modern way of life. She also shared U.A.E.'s policies and efforts to preserve the country's heritage amidst modernization and rapid development. END
