03 February 2017, AGANA, GUAM – Two passport processors served a total of 606 passport applicants during the four-and-a-half-day consular outreach mission of the Philippine Consulate General in Agana at the  Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe, Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI).  The said consular outreach mission is the Consulate General’s first for 2017.

The Consulate General also provided mobile voter registration services on top of the regular passport renewal services to the Filipino residing and working in Saipan.

The consular team processed 602 passport renewals, four passport replacements, three petitions for dual citizenship (with one derivative dependent), and three affidavits.  Three hundred fifty-two Filipino citizens registered to vote for the 2019 elections.

Consul Mark Francis C. Hamoy headed the consular team. The consular team included Mr. Allan Tangayan and Ms. Juliet S. Simbul (passport processors), Ms. Annabelle M. Oviedo-Lavarez (voter registration), and Ms. Emerita G. Marquez (collecting officer).

Consul Glicerio D. Arago a.h. and several Filipino community volunteers assisted the consular team and helped keep the mission venue in order. END
