04 November 2013 - Ambassador Enrique A. Manalo sent a nine-man consular team, led by Consuls Kristine Salle and Voltaire Mauricio to Dublin, Ireland on October 26 and 27 to provide consular outreach services to Filipinos living in Ireland. The team included Welfare Officer Esperanza Cobarrubias and Ms. Jean Guzman, PAG-IBIG Information Officer in London.
More than 300 applicants from Ireland including Filipinos based in Belfast, Northern Ireland came to The Guild Building where the outreach service was held.
Among services rendered were the processing of 294 e-passports, 39 reports of birth and marriage (including the late registration of the same), and 14 notarization of documents. There were also 29 overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) assisted for various Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) services and more than 20 who applied for and renewed their PAG-IBIG membership.
The outreach was held in close collaboration with the office of Philippine Honorary Consul in Dublin Mark Congdon.
This was the fourth consular outreach held in Dublin this year since the transfer of jurisdiction of Ireland to the Philippine Embassy in London. The next outreach in Dublin will be scheduled next year. END
