20 February 2017 — The Philippine Consulate General in Agana rendered a total of 518 consular and ATN services during their three-day consular outreach in Koror, Palau from February 06-08.
The said mobile consular mission is the Consulate General’s first for 2017.
Consul Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian led the consular team composed of Mr. Julius Checa and Ms. Juliet Simbul for passport, civil registry and authentication services, and Ms. Emerita Marquez as Collecting Officer and Mr. Allan Tangayan for overseas voters registration.
Among the consular and ATN services rendered by the consular team were 403 ePassport Applications/Renewal, including three replacement for lost passports and 71 recaptured passport applications; 98 Extension of Validity of Passport; three Authentications / Notarials; one Report of Marriage; eight Reports of Birth; two Travel Documents; and three ATN services.
The team also processed a total of 290 applications for overseas voters registration.

Consul Auxilian called on Palau State Minister Billy Kuartei and met with Mr. Sylverius Tellei, Chief of the Department of Labor, and Mr. Falvin Misech, Director of Immigration on February 07.
Consul Auxilian visited the 23 Filipino fishermen held at the Palau Marine Law port in Koror. He checked their condition and extended the appropriate assistance to them.
The consular outreach in Palau was conducted with the cooperation and support of the office of PHL Honorary Consul to Palau Eric Ksau Whipps, his assistant Ms. Evaruth Blesam and the volunteers from the Filipino community in Palau.
