22 February 2017 MILAN — Thirty Filipino community leaders representing various organizations in Milan and Northern Italy gathered for the first Action Group Against Drugs (AGAD) Core Group meeting on February 17.
“The meeting is intended to facilitate the identification of relevant activities and projects that would help the Philippines Government’s campaign against illegal drugs,” said Consul Conrado Demdem, Jr. of the Philippine Consulate General in Milan.
Three focus groups were formed during the workshop: Information Campaign and Advocacy, Prevention Programs and Projects; and Treatment/Rehabilitation and Recovery.
Each group will be creating a comprehensive action plan before implementing their respective projects.END
