24 February 2017 - The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted its third consular outreach for the year at the Fil-Am Building in Fresno and the Seasons Marketplace in Milpitas on February 18 – 19.
Vice Consul Carlyn A. Monastrial led the consular outreach team. The Consulate General processed 128 passport renewals, two lost passports, and one Travel Document. For notarial services, the team processed two authentications, 100 acknowledgements, two Reports of Marriage, seven Reports of Birth, and eight other certificates. Forty-one people availed of reacquisition of citizenship, with one minor derivative.
For Overseas Voter Registration, the team processed 110 new registrants, one reactivation, and five changes of address.
The ten-man team was assisted by the Filipino Communities in Fresno in Milpitas, headed by Ms. Maribelle Dyoco and Fely Guzman, and Ms. Gorjius Castillo, respectively, who volunteered to pre-process documents of Filipinos in need of consular services and maintain order in the course of the outreach.
