Dubai cooperation

01 March 2017 DUBAI, UAE – Representatives from the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates participated in the economic tour organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) last February 22 to find possible areas of economic, cultural, technological, and scientific cooperation between the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Vice Consul Marianne I. Bringas, Vice Consul and Economic Officer Elizabeth P. Ramos and Economic Assistant Nesreen A. Navarro joined other UAE-based heads and members of the diplomatic and consular corps learning more about Sharjah, UAE’s third largest emirate.

The economic tour gave the participants a glimpse of Sharjah’s recent infrastructure developments and its rich culture and heritage.  Sharjah has been touted by UNESCO as an Arab Capital of Culture.  END
