10 March 2017 BRUNEI — Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Meynardo L.B. Montealegre emphasized the opportunities for Filipino engineers during the integration of ASEAN markets in his speech as the Guest of Honor at the Induction Night of the 2017 Board of Directors and New Members of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers – Brunei Chapter (PICE-Brunei) at Mangrove Paradise Resort on March 04.

Ambassador Montealegre highlighted the significance of the theme of the event, “Diversified Filipino Civil Engineers through adversities of ASEAN Integration.” He also commended the PICE Chapter for demonstrating professional excellence to the admiration of Brunei’s officials.

Dr. Maria Catalina E. Cabral, Undersecretary for Planning and Public-Private Partnership (PPP), Department of Public Works and Highways and National President of PICE was the inducting officer.

In her message, she presented the infrastructure projects of the DPWH and invited the engineers to become partners in undertaking said projects. END
