10 March 2016 PAMPANGA — The Holy Angel University (HAU) in Angeles City and the University of Duhok in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq recently inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at fostering mutual cooperation in teaching, curriculum development, training, research, and quality assurance.

The memorandum was signed by Dr. Edna Santos, on behalf of HAU President Luis Maria Calingo, and Dr. Mosleh Mohammed Saeed Salih, President of the University of Duhok during ceremonies at the HAU campus.

The agreement is a product of the efforts of the Philippine Embassy in Baghdad to expand and strengthen the people-to-people linkages between the Philippines and Iraq. END
