14 March 2017 NEW YORK CITY – Philippine National Statistician and Civil Registrar General Dr. Lisa Grace S. Bersales met with the Filipino community and Filipino lawyers in a townhall event at the Kalayaan Hall in New York City on March 08 to update them of the Philippine Statistics Authority’s (PSA) latest developments.

Filipinos from as far as Harrisburg, Pennsylvania traveled to New York to join the townhall together with other members of the Filipino community.  The participants were interested to know more about the registration of birth and marriage, adoption, death, and corrections of entries in civil registry records.END
