23 March KRAKOW, POLAND — The Philippine and Poland may soon engage in reciprocal faith-based tours.
Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Wanda Corazon Tulfo-Teo highlighted the strong potential of pilgrimage tours between the Philippines and Poland with the officials of Marianum Travel or the Marian Fathers Pilgrimage and Tour Company during her visit to Krakow, Poland from March 10 to 13.
Marianum Travel has included the Philippines among the destinations for its pilgrimage tours and plans to organize one ealy next year.
Both countries have a predominantly Roman Catholic population, with 90% of the Polish population and in the Philippines 80.58%. END
