Little Practitioner Reporters’ Group Visits Phl Consulate General in Chongqing

31 March 2017 CHONGQING — Seventeen (17) students from different primary schools in Chongqing, who are members of Little Practitioners Reporters’ Group visited the Philippine Consulate General Chongqing on March 11 to learn about Philippine culture as well as understand the functions of the Consulate General.
Administrative Officer Marietta Enriquez-Magno and Cultural Officer Emelyn Cosino, together with the Translator/Interpreter, Ms. Vivian Wang, were on hand to welcome Teacher Chen Bin and the young students and guided them through a short program which included a short presentation and video about the Philippines. They also answered all the questions fielded by the students after the presentations.
Home-made “maja blanca” was served as refreshment. Each child also received copy of “Feilubin Shenhua Gushixuan” (Alamat: A Selection of Philippine Folk Tales) and were ushered to view a few stations from the “Pagkain” exhibit to learn more about Filipino food.
The Little Practitioners Reporters’ Group is an organization that has set reporters’ stations in more than 30 schools in Chongqing. END
