PHL Ambassador Presents Credentials as Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova

11 April 2017 CHISINAU – Ambassador Maria Fe T. Pangilinan presented her credentials to H.E. President Igor Dodon as non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Republic of Moldova on March 23.
The ceremony was followed by a meeting between President Dodon and Ambassador Pangilinan wherein both parties expressed their mutual desire to assume a more proactive role in improving bilateral relations.
President Dodon hopes that the Philippines and Moldova will find opportunities to exchange government or business delegations in the near future. He further recommended that Philippine officials travelling to Europe may wish to extend their trips to include Moldova in their itineraries. Lastly, the President stated he stands ready to support any initiative to foster relations between the two countries. END
