11 November 2013 – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducted an “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) activity in Hofuf, Eastern Region from November 08 to 09.  Held at the Al-Ahsa Dawah Center, the EOW enabled a total of 439 Filipinos to avail themselves of the Embassy’s consular services. The Embassy team which conducted the EOW was able to process 395 ePassport renewals, 12 passport extensions, nine Reports of Birth (ROB) and 23 notarial applications.

In the conduct of the EOW, the Embassy team was assisted by Filipino community volunteers based in the area, particularly in terms of managing the flow of applicants at the EOW venue. The Embassy team was also hosted by the Al-Ahsa Dawah Center, which made available its physical facilities and generously extended hospitalities to the Embassy team. END
