PHL Embassy in Dili Holds Financial Literacy Seminar

11 April 2017 DILI, TIMOR-LESTE – The Philippine Embassy in Dili, Timor-Leste, in coordination with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. (ANZ) and the Association of Filipinos in East Timor (AFET), hosted a “Financial Literacy Seminar for Women” at the Embassy Chancery on April 05 to provide women OFWs simple and practical lessons to help them balance financial and social goals.

ANZ financial literacy expert Ms. Jennie Jovianto Bolang facilitated the highly-informative seminar, which included modules on planning for the future, making money last, needs vs. wants, budgeting, being assertive (how to say no) and commitment towards saving money. END
