PHL Embassy Celebrates World Autism Month in Singapore

11 April 2017 SINGAPORE — The Philippine Embassy in Singapore joined the celebration of World Autism Awareness Day, which is commemorated on April 02, and World Autism Month, which is commemorated the whole month of April. To mark the celebration, the Embassy put up a banner for the event at the entrance of the Embassy, along with the uploading of the information on the Embassy website and Facebook. 

To highlight the event, the Embassy put a blue light at the façade of the Embassy as its way of joining the Singapore community in its “light it up blue” campaign. The observance will last until the end of the month.  

The Embassy hopes that through these initiatives it can promote awareness on the issue of autism among the public.  END
