Filipino Community Group Basta Inducts News Set of Officers

Consul General Marciano R. de Borja leads the induction ceremonies for the new set of officers of the Batangas and Southern Tagalog Association (BASTA) headed by its President, Mr. Antonio Yanez, Jr. (2^nd from left) for 2017 to 2018.

04 April 2017, Agana, GUAM – Philippine Consul General to Agana Marciano R. de Borja administered the oath to the newly-elected officers of the Batangas and Southern Tagalog Association (BASTA) on April 04 at the Somnak Ballroom of Westin Resort Guam. Mr. Antonio Yanez, Jr. is BASTA’s new President for FY 2017-2018.

Consul General de Borja joined Governor of Guam Eddie Baza Calvo, Guam Delegate to the US Congress Madeleine Z. Bordallo and 34^th Guam Legislature Assistant Majority Leader Joe S. San Agustin in congratulating the new set of officers.

BASTA is an active member of the Filipino Community of Guam (FCG), umbrella organization of the Filipino community on Guam. END
