11 November 2013 - A total of 159 senior high school students from various Philippine Schools Overseas in Riyadh took the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) given on November 08 at the Philippine Embassy Chancery at the Diplomatic Quarter.

The examinations, conducted by UP Professor Francisco Delos Reyes were conducted in two sessions morning and afternoon.

Students from Palm Crest International School, Future Generation Philippine International School and Al Danah International School were allotted the morning session while examinees from Al Taj International School, Elite International School, Fawaq International Philippine School in Riyadh, Millennium Star International School, Riyadh International School and Second Philippine International School took their test in the afternoon. 

The UPCAT conducted outside of the Philippines is an annual program of the University of the Philippines to reach out to the children of Overseas Filipinos who will pursue their university degrees in the State University. END
