PHL Embassy, Leckie Elementary School Conclude Successful EAP Partnership In DC

12 April 2017 WASHINGTON DC — Grade 6 students of Leckie DC Elementary school led by Teacher Travis Coleman with Philippine Embassy Chargé d’ Affaires ad interim, Minister Patrick A. Chuasoto and Embassy personnel after their final presentation in the Embassy Adoption Program (EAP) held at the Philippine Chancery on April 07, 2017. In their final EAP activity, the students’ presented what they have learned about the Philippines’ geography, climate, language, history, culture, songs, festivals, and traditions. They also performed the dance “Magtanim ay ‘di Biro,” a Philippine folk dance and did a basic demonstration of Filipino stick fighting.
