PH Participates in the 2017 Wellington Southeast Asian Night Market

12 April 2017 WELLINGTON — The Philippines and the other member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) brought together an exciting mix of music and dances, colorful crafts, and delicious food at the 2017 Wellington Southeast Asian Night Market at the Wellington Waterfront from April 01 to 02.

This biennial weekend event hosted dance acts and music from the ASEAN countries at the Te Papa Promenade and Odlins Plaza. Traditional Southeast Asian games were also played in the venue, while stalls abounded all over the waterfront offering entertainment and a wide variety of food from all over Southeast Asia.

The 2017 Wellington Southeast Asian Night Market was funded by the Wellington City Council, with support from Western Union, Asia New Zealand Foundation and the ASEAN Committee in Wellington. END
