PHL Embassy in UAE and Philippine Ladies Circle – Abu Dhabi Celebrate International Mother Earth Day
Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. and Madame Yoko Ramos-Vingno, Chair of the Philippine Ladies Circle – Abu Dhabi, are joined by Filipino artists Dee Dipon, Gay Marie Jumuad and Aler Auro in an unveiling ceremony in observance of International Mother Earth Day.
26 April 2017 ABU DHABI — The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Philippine Ladies Circle - Abu Dhabi observed International Mother Earth Day at the chancery on April 20
In an unveiling ceremony, an artwork created by Abu Dhabi-based Filipino artists Dee Dipon, Gay Marie Jumuad, and Aler Auro was presented to Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. and Madame Yoko Ramos-Vingno, Chair of the Philippine Ladies Circle – Abu Dhabi. The artwork featured children of Embassy personnel and a portrayal of their future roles in the society.
“The Embassy and the Philippine Ladies Circle thought of an activity to create awareness in saving the environment by gathering our kids to have a portrayal of their responsibilities in the years to come. Our artists sat down and talked about it to better portray their future roles in our society,” said Ambassador Vingno.
International Mother Earth Day provides an opportunity to raise public awareness around the world to the challenges regarding the well-being of the planet and all the life it supports.
