Taiwanese Food Company Eyes Partnership with SM

26 April 2017 XIAMEN — Yourchoice Food & Beverage Management Co. (YFBMC) expressed its intention to open outlets in SM Malls in China such as cafes, pizza parlors and noodle houses/restaurants during the company representatives’ courtesy call on Philippine Consul General to Xiamen Julius Caesar A. Flores at the Consulate General.

The company’s plan is to open at least 300 restaurants all over China within two years before going overseas for global expansion.Aside from the food/restaurant business, YFBMC, is also the largest Taiwanese real estate company operating in Fujian province.

Mr. Xu Wenzhong, Director, Keelung Tourism, Economy, Trade and Culture Office in Xiamen, Mr. Zhang Jie and Mr. Zhang Xiucheng, General Manager and Director, YFBMC were accompanied by Ms. Mandy Zhang, staff of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade-Xiamen (CCPIT-Xiamen).

After the courtesy call, Consul General Flores joined the group in their meeting with SM-Xiamen representatives during which potential partnership was discussed.

Consul General Flores also took the opportunity to promote the Philippines both as a tourist haven and investment hub for the Taiwanese people.
