Sharjah Holds Kabayan Cultural Day

03 May 2017 DUBAI, U.A.E — The Kabayan Cultural Day, one of the side events in the recently concluded Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, an annual event held annually under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, was held on April 22 at the Expo Center at the Emirates of Sharjah, UAE.

Consul General Paul Cortes congratulates the officials and organizers for the successful hosting of the annual Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival.  He also expressed his appreciation for including the Philippines in the program and for providing an opportunity for Filipinos in UAE to showcase the culture and talent of the Filipino people.

With this year’s theme “Discover Beyond,” the entire day was filled with activities that featured the values and culture of the Philippines, and demonstrated the Filipino skills, talent, ingenuity, and craftsmanship.
