PHL Embassy in Dhaka Celebrates 2017 National Women’s Month

The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines organized a gender and development activity for the Filipino Community in Dhaka entitled, “We Make Lifestyle Change Work for Women” on March 31 at the Dhaka Regency Hotel to celebrate National Women’s Month for this year.

The activity provided a venue for the members of the Filipino Community in Dhaka to discuss the Magna Carta of Women, and to have candid exchanges on fitness and health matters.  Ambassador Vicente Vivencio T. Bandillo opened the program and emphasized the importance of women’s health and lifestyle.  The program included talks on the Magna Carta of Women, women’s health, lifestyle matters, and a brief yoga class.
