PHL Embassy Joins AIESEC “Global Village” at the University of Berne

10 May 2017 BERNE — The Philippine Embassy in Berne promoted Philippine culture, trade, and tourism during University of Bern’s “Global Village”, organized by the University’s chapter of AIESEC, on April 27.  

The Embassy promoted Philippine tourism through colorful posters and “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” materials, and handed brochures on investment opportunities in the Philippines.  Visitors to the Philippine booth were also given insights to Filipino culture and were encouraged to visit the country.

The Global Village is a platform to raise awareness among different cultures. The Philippines was among the co-featured countries together with Guatemala, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, USA, and Vietnam.

AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential.
