PH Participates in 13th Strait Travel Fair and China (Xiamen) Leisure Tourism Expo 2017

19 May 2017 XIAMEN — Philippine Consul General to Xiamen Julius Caesar A. Flores attended the opening ceremony of the 13th Strait Travel Fair and China (Xiamen) Leisure Tourism Expo 2017 at the Xiamen International Exhibition Center on May 12.
The event, organized under the auspices of C&D Travel, involves Fujian, Taiwanese as well as regional and international participants. C&D Travel is China’s largest conglomerate in the hospitality industry.
The Philippine Tourism Office in Shanghai (PTO-Shanghai) opened a booth to disseminate promotional materials to visitors and guests.
The event provided a valuable platform to promote the Philippines as a tourist destination to the fast growing Chinese tourism market. Other ASEAN countries also participated notably, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
