Embassy officers and staff led by Chargé d’ Affaires Stephanie Alexis A. Cruz welcomed His Excellency Eduardo E. Kapunan, Jr. and his spouse, Madam Elsa A. Kapunan, who arrived in Yangon on 22 May 2017 to assume his Post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. He was also welcomed by Ambassadors of ASEAN member states accredited to Myanmar and U Zaw Tun Oo, Deputy Director General, Protocol Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
