PHL Embassy Joins the Family Day Event Organized by the Filipino Association in Brunei

26 May 2017 BRUNEI — Officials from the Philippine Embassy in Brunei Darussalam, led by Consul Melvin C. Almonguera and Vice Consul Jaybee B. Arguillas, joins the Family Day event organized by the Filipino Association in Brunei (FAB) and its member-organizations on May 21, at the Berakas Sports Field Complex, Bandar Seri Begawan.
Consul Almonguera commended the FAB for its efforts in unifying the Filipino community in Brunei through activities that promotes camaraderie, family values and health. He also encouraged the Filipino community to be more active in events that would uplift the image of Filipinos in Brunei.
The family day event started with a zumba session. After which, the attendees actively participated in various sports games organized by FAB.
The Filipino Association in Brunei Darussalam was established in 1982. To date, 16 organizations are member-organizations of the group.
