PH Embassy in Athens Invites Greek Businesses to Invest in the PH

Ms. Rosario P. Lemque, Charge d’ Affaires (center) informs the Chamber of Evia of the trade and investment opportunities in the Philippines.

 

29 May 2017 CHALKIDA, GREECE — Charge d’ Affaires, a.i. Rosario P. Lemque of the Philippine Embassy in Athens invited Greek companies to invest in the Philippines, particularly in agriculture, food and beverage, infrastructure, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, energy, and tourism during a joint seminar conducted by the ASEAN Committee in Athens (ACAT) and the Regional Government of Central Greece to the Chamber of Evia in Chalkida on May 23.

During her presentation, Ms. Lemque said that the Philippines is now a rising tiger in the region, being one of the fastest growing economies in Asia.

Other ACAT members that delivered presentations were from the Embassies of Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. Aside from the ACAT Mr. Simos Kedikoglou, MP of Evia, Mr. Fanis Spanos, Vice Governor of Central Greece, and Mr. Giannis Lionakis, President of the Evia Chamber also present during the seminar.
