DOST Officials Participate in Discussion on ASEAN Plan of Action on Science, Technology, And Innovation

02 June 2017 Bandar Seri Begawan – Over 100 science and technology officials representing the Philippines, other ASEAN Member States, Japan, and the Republic of Korea gathered to discuss the ASEAN Plan of Action on Science, Technology and Innovation 2016-2025 (APASTI) and to review and evaluate the implementation of resolutions for upcoming high-level dialogues during the 72nd Meeting of the ASEAN Committee on Science and Technology (COST-72) and Related Meetings from May 22 to 25 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) and the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in Bandar Seri Begawan.
The ASEAN COST-72 and Related Meetings focused on the review, evaluation, and guidance on the implementation of resolutions such as in the ASEAN Summit and Dialogue, Partner Summit, ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Science and Technology (AMMST), and the Informal ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Science and Technology (IAMMST).
The ASEAN COST-73 and Related Meetings will be held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar later this year.
