07 June 2017 AGANA – A delegation from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) led by Rear Admiral Robert A. Empedrad, Deputy Chief of Staff for Reservists and Retiree Affairs, J9 called on Consul General Marciano R. de Borja, at the Philippine Consulate General in Guam on June 05. The group was accompanied during the call by Brigadier General Roderick R. Leon Guerrero, Adjutant General of the Guam National Guard.
Every year, the Guam National Guard hosts senior leaders from the Armed Forces of the Philippines on Guam for a Senior Staff Exchange. The delegation members attended the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) training as part of their activities during their visit to Guam.
