PHL Embassy in Singapore Organizes 2nd Get-Together Event of Political Officers and Military Attachés
22 June 2017 SINGAPORE — The Philippine Embassy in Singapore organized the 2nd Get-together Event of Heads/Representatives of the Political Section of Diplomatic Missions and Defence/Armed Forces Attachés in Singapore at the official Philippine official residence on June 16. The networking event is one of the activities of the Embassy under the ASEAN chairmanship of the Philippines. Around 70 guests participated in the activity representing diplomatic missions of the countries in America, Asia, Europe and Africa including the ASEAN countries. Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales thanked the attendees for taking the opportunity to meet and talk with and, in the process, develop good friendship and connection with their colleagues. A ‘no pork, no lard’ buffet was served during the reception that opened around 7:30 p.m. in deference to Muslim guests who are observing the fasting period of Ramadan.
