Philippines, Georgia Celebrate 25 Years of Diplomatic Relations

28 June 2017 ANKARA — The Philippine Embassy conducted relevant meetings with Georgian officials, a consular mission for Filipino nationals, and celebrated 25 years of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Georgia in the capital city Tbilisi on June 13 and 14.
The Embassy and Georgian officials discussed how to further foster relations between the two countries, highlighting their 25 years of diplomatic relations and greater people to people contact as evidenced by the growing tourism and business cooperation on both sides. Further cooperation under the Philippine chairmanship of ASEAN and matters of mutual interest in the multilateral arena were also discussed.
During the reception celebrating 25 years of Philippine-Georgia diplomatic relations, both sides affirmed their commitment to strengthen relations between the two countries.
