Dessert Workshop Participants in Canada Give Desserts a Filipino Twist

29 June 2017 OTTAWA – The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa organized a Workshop on Filipino Desserts on June 24.

Batangas Cake Artist and Kunst Gallery Project Coordinator Bill Perez conducted the training. 

During the workshop, the participants were trained to prepare a range of familiar desserts with a Filipino twist.

Philippine Ambassador to Canada, Petronila Garcia lauded the effort, noting that giving favorite desserts and pastries such as cakes a distinct Filipino twist is a good way to introduce Filipino flavors to those who are not familiar with Filipino cuisine.
