Ambassador Kapunan Presents His Letters of Credence to His Excellency President U Htin Kyaw of the Republic of The Union of Myanmar

03 July 2017 YANGON – Philippine Ambassador to Myanmar Eduardo E. Kapunan, Jr. presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar His Excellency U Htin Kyaw at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar on June 27.

During the Ambassador’s call, President U Htin Kyaw reflected on the strong relationship the Philippines has with Myanmar. The Ambassador said that under his leadership, he aims to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries and create and implement meaningful agreements for the growth of both Myanmar and the Philippines.
