05 July 2017 DUBAI - Philippine Consul General in Dubai Paul Raymund P. Cortes led the launching ceremonies of the Philippine Business School FZ LLC (PBS) of Dubai last June 29 at the Millenium Airport Hotel in Dubai. PBS and De La Salle University Manila recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement that allows Overseas Filipinos to earn their degree in Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the said university through a series of Masterclasses which will be held in Dubai.
The Masterclasses include Business Management & Entrepreneurship; Foundation of Human Capital Management; Leadership Development Program; and Continuing Professional Education for Filipino professionals.
In his message, Consul General Paul Raymund P. Cortes highlighted the importance of Overseas Filipinos in national development and the need to continue working on their strategic management and analytical expertise, skills that are necessary as we tread towards greater prosperity. He added that through these, they are able to contribute to humanity, particularly to the countries that provide them economic and professional opportunities such as the UAE. He challenged them further to transport the talents and expertise they gained and honed abroad back to the motherland for the benefit of our country and our people.
The PBS-DLSU Master Class Batch 1 is composed of 40 Overseas Filipinos in Dubai and the Northern Emirates from various fields of industry. Candidates must finish 12 Masterclasses to qualify for graduation. END
